NQ Premarket Levels, Tuesday, September 8, 2026: Doji Below the VWAP Into ADP: 29,531 or Breakout

Happy Tuesday. NQ comes into the morning down about 17 points, floating around 29,548, and the calendar is busy: ADP employment change at 8:15 AM ET, used car sales at 9:00, consumer inflation expectations at 11:00, and consumer credit at 3:00 PM. Those are the three prints Ron is watching.

Yesterday closed indecisive with a possible reversal hammer to the downside. Today the daily is a doji. The potential double bottom is still on the chart, and the one thing holding it back is that price sits below the VWAP. Yesterday's levels are still good, so nothing new is drawn.

The one hour tells the overnight story: NQ consolidated on a trend line from yesterday, dipped below it, bounced off it twice, and ran to an overnight high near 29,765. Then it broke the VWAP and the trend line, printed higher lows, and rejected clean off the trend line and the VWAP.

This is trading education, not a signal or a promise.

The plan

Two scenarios on the five minute. Either NQ fights back above the VWAP by the open and makes a clean breakout toward the upper trend line, or it rejects here, breaks through, taps 29,531, and continues down to 29,494. Both branches were on the chart before the first release.
